This is a very important standard. It is important to be well informed about what can and can't be used from the internet or other published documents. I must know it for my own use as a teacher, but I also must be able to teach my students what is legal, and ethical, about using information found through technological venues.
It is also important that I teach my students the proper respect and usage of technological equipment.
